Anel and I haven't been on a proper spring break vacation in years. The year I was pregnant with Amalia, Zika forced us to cancel our babymoon to St. Lucia and two years after that, I had terrible anxiety about leaving her for more than a night or two. But now we're ready. More than ready.

A few years ago I decided to go blonder than my usual highlights. I wanted to be platinum so badly and, despite every colorist's plea not to do it, I went for it anyway. And I loved it! Having a chic short bob with the platinum blonde was and will be my favorite look ever.
For about 6 months...
1. Cheer on Netflix (TV show): If you haven't seen Cheer yet, I can pretty much guarantee that all of your friends have told you to watch it. I'm joining them and shouting it from the highest of mountaintops. Go binge Cheer and then we can talk dedication and athleticism and hope and positivity. The kids in this show are absolutely inspiring and while at first I admittedly thought it sounded stupid, I was hooked after the first episode.
