I love working for myself and, at this point in my life, I can't imagine being back in an office full time again now that I've been out of one for over 3 years. But there are also a lot of things I miss about working a more traditional job. Mostly I miss the company of great coworkers who become like family, happy hours and lunch breaks with those coworkers, and getting dressed up for work in the morning.
Taking photos of little ones is a challenge to say the least. There can be tears, meltdowns, and frowny-faced photos if you don't do it the right way. Luckily, I have some tips that will help you out if you're shooting your holiday cards in the coming week, or just need tips for everyday snaps.

Over the summer my sister got lash extensions for the first time. Every time I saw her I thought she had had her make up professionally done. She's already beautiful but she looked truly stunning at all times. She told me that getting the lashes gave her one of the biggest confidence boosts of her adult life.
Happy Monday! I'm back (a few hours late) after a really fun fall weekend with friends and my family. We had our first real party in the new house and it was a dream to finally be able to entertain in a home that was built for it. I teared up multiple times that night and just felt so happy that we have created such a wonderful community of friends here.
