At the beginning of this year, I was gung-ho about starting a Lemon Stripes book club. I love following along with other bloggers who do them, and I couldn't wait to discuss the books I was reading with you in a new way. But, to be totally honest, it made reading feel like work. I felt pressure to read at a certain speed and it took the fun out of one of my favorite parts of the day.
Do you have that one bag or pair of shoes that you just can't live without? I do. Mine is the Cuyana tote (my color is currently on a waitlist) that I've been carrying pretty much every day for the last year and a half. I feel very strongly about this bag so here I am dedicating an entire (non-sponsored) blog post to her.
It's hard to believe that in three weeks I'll never live in my house again. How weird is that? I have so many incredible memories here. Bootsie became our first baby in this house. I spent 7 hours of labor in this house. We brought Amalia home to this house. She took her first steps here.
We bought a new house and we're moving into it three weeks from today!
It feels so good to finally let that cat out of the bag. Anel and I have been working on selling our house, getting a mortgage, buying this house, and renovating it all summer-long. The process has completely taken over our lives for the last three months so not being able to share it with you guys has been really hard.
