Celebrating Your Achievements


The other day, a few girlfriends and I were discussing the fact that we rarely celebrate or appreciate ourselves when we have accomplished something meaningful. As soon as we get a raise, we look to the next level of success, not missing a beat. When we score an amazing blog partnership, we want something even bigger.

Un Weekend a New York

Happy Monday! Here we are in the midst of Fashion Week, and unfortunately, I could kind of care less. This season I've pared down quite a lot, attending one blogger dinner, a party to celebrate Trina Turk, and the Tibi runway show (read more about my thoughts on fashion week).

30 Day Challenge

I recently made a big realization which led to a big change. As I mentioned last week, one of my goals this year is to feel more vibrant. My personal definition of feeling vibrant, FYI, is to be healthy, energetic, beautiful, and happy. I've started making decisions differently and have noticed things changing at a rapid pace.

Having creative friends has it perks, folks. My gal pal Katherine Feiner is an incredible designer, and I feel honored and lucky to know her. Last year I created a fun post featuring one of her stunning evening gowns. This summer, I featured her romper which is one of my favorite pieces in my closet (I wore it to my bachelorette party!) I felt like a princess in the gown and a showstopper in her romper so when we decided to collaborate again, I was thrilled.

One for Me, One for You

Valentine's Day. Ugh. Everyone loves to hate this holiday. But it is a celebration of love so if you're in love, why not show it in a big way? It's so easy to get caught up in day to day life (especially if you're cohabitating with your mate), but take the time this year to really appreciate that special someone whether it's your husband, boyfriend, girl friend, sister, or best friend.
