Happy Friday from California and happy Life Lately with Lemon Stripes Day! June has already been a big whirlwind, culminating with this trip, something that I have been nervous about for months. My grandmother lives outside of LA and I used to come to visit her every month or two, but since I had Amalia, I've only been out twice, once for my grandfather's funeral.
I'm a big believer that everyone needs a solid white tee (or two) in their wardrobe. It's like a best friend: always there when you need it and never lets you down. I've worn many a white tee in my day, but there are two that stand out and step up to the plate time and again.
Over the last few months, I've been learning more and more about sustainability in the fashion world and growing in ways that I wasn't expecting. I've been trying to educate myself on a lot of topics so that I can make smarter decisions for myself, my family, and the future of our planet. With that education, in my opinion, comes a responsibility to share the things I learn with the voice I have here.
It's been exactly six months since I went on medication for my anxiety, and it's hard to put into words how much my life has changed in that time... But I'll try. My last real update on the topic was a few weeks after I started, and even looking back on that time, things have gotten even better.
