My (Mostly) Anxiety-Free Family Vacation

I cannot fully express how good it feels to be writing this post right now. As I type this it's Sunday night, my whole family is fed and bathed, and I can't stop smiling as I look at these photos that we took earlier today. It was the last morning of our family vacation to Sarasota and although Anel and I were both physically exhausted from chasing around a very active little girl for four days, we were so happy and fulfilled.

Our Tropical Guest Room

I'm so excited to reveal what we've been working on in our guest room over the last few months. Our house is a split level/raised ranch style home and both of these rooms are located in the basement. We're lucky because we have a south-facing (small) window that gives the space an incredible amount of light.

Sarasota Packing List

This is our third spring in a row heading to Sarasota for a little vacation. The first time I was newly pregnant, last year, Amalia was only 8 months old, and this time she's a full-on walking and talking toddler. I have to say, I'm the most excited for this year's trip because she really appreciates the beach and swimming in the pool now.
