Life Lately: March

I had a really good week, and I don't remember the last time I've said that with such enthusiasm when nothing super exciting happened. But I felt good, calm, happy and I had a realization that shifted how I look at my future.

This realization has to do with comparison and goals. I get asked a lot about what my plans are for the next 5 or 10 years, but for the first time in my life, I don't really have a solid answer.

Rewear It: Striped Midi Skirt

For this month's installment of "rewear it" I'm restyling the amazing striped midi skirt that I originally wore in my Dudley Stephens x Lemon Stripes launch photos. The stylist for the shoot picked it out, and I loved it so much that the Dudley girls bought it for me as a gift when we were done.

Guest Bathroom Before & After

Ok, can we talk about bathroom goals? All three of the bathrooms in my house are fairly small, but the basement guest bath is the biggest and brightest of them all. With a little facelift, it has quickly become our favorite bathroom child. Anel walked in and said, "Is this really our house? It looks so nice!"

It lives directly across the hall from our amazingly colorful and tropical guest room.

My (Mostly) Anxiety-Free Family Vacation

I cannot fully express how good it feels to be writing this post right now. As I type this it's Sunday night, my whole family is fed and bathed, and I can't stop smiling as I look at these photos that we took earlier today. It was the last morning of our family vacation to Sarasota and although Anel and I were both physically exhausted from chasing around a very active little girl for four days, we were so happy and fulfilled.
