Sorry for the delay on this post, I know I promised it two days ago! Amalia's flu has taken over our lives this week, but I'm excited to finally be sharing this review. I'm a little brain dead but hopefully my thoughts come across in some shape or form.
There are no words to describe how fascinated I am by the Theranos story.
Toddlers and eating go together just about as well as ice cream and ketchup. Which is ironic because my toddler likes to dip everything in ketchup, even ice cream. So maybe that analogy doesn't work... The point is, getting a toddler to eat can be tricky which is why we thought it would be the perfect topic for this month's 'mom talk' post.

Longtime readers of Lemon Stripes know that I’ve been wearing essie ‘ballet slippers’ on my nails for years. It’s my go-to manicure color and I have it on 90% of the time. So when my favorite nail polish brand reached out to partner with me for a spring shoot, I got way too excited and may have gone over the top.
I had a really good week, and I don't remember the last time I've said that with such enthusiasm when nothing super exciting happened. But I felt good, calm, happy and I had a realization that shifted how I look at my future.
This realization has to do with comparison and goals. I get asked a lot about what my plans are for the next 5 or 10 years, but for the first time in my life, I don't really have a solid answer.
