Many of us have heard this Teddy Roosevelt quote time and again, but for the last few weeks, it's been repeating itself in my head on a continual loop.
Mostly it's in reference to Instagram, which affects my day-to-day life more than I wish it did. One of my favorite bloggers recently asked her followers on stories to describe in a word or two how Instagram makes them feel.
When my family came to visit a few weeks ago, my dad's wife, Jenn, made her famous chicken tortilla soup and after seeing her actually cook it in person for the first time, I realized just how easy it was to make! She originally got the recipe from this cookbook, but we've made some changes like adding in spices, corn, and beans.
