Holiday Decor Hacks

After Thanksgiving I'm all about turning my house into holiday central. We are never not playing Christmas music and everything feels so cheerful and festive. This year, I stepped up my holiday decor game by asking my friend Prudence, an interior designer, for some tips on how to make it a little more elevated than usual.

Stocking Stuffers

Happy Friday from Rhode Island! I'm here for a press trip with some friends and so excited about how festive it is.

One of my favorite holiday traditions that we do in my family is "secret stocking" where we draw names and have to fill a stocking with $100 worth of stocking stuffers for one adult in the family.

4 Festive Holiday Cocktails

I love a good cocktail, but have never been the greatest mixologist. It’s something I always wished I knew more about and taking a cocktail-making class is on my to do list. How fun does that sound?

I spent a week looking up recipes and another week creating tasty and flavorful cocktails that are perfectly festive, but not too sweet (which I hate).

My Winter Reading List

Wintertime makes me want to curl up in bed or on the couch with a cozy blanket, a hot mug of tea, and a good book even more than ever, and I've read a few great books lately that I'm excited to share with you.

I also added a list of the books I plan to read next so you can add them to your holiday wish lists or get reading right away.
