Fall Decor I Don’t Hate

I’ll be honest, fall decor (or any seasonal decor, really) just isn’t my thing. The one exception? I do love a Christmas tree moment… but I’m also ready to take it down on the 26th. Am I a Scrooge? Maybe! My kids certainly think so, which means every year I cave and add a few pieces to our home that feel festive each season without taking over the whole house.

Here are some fall finds that I actually don’t hate… and might even love? Check out even more of my picks here. No skeletons in sight!

Hotel Lobby Candle Napa Valley: This candle has the coziest fall scent that’s rich, warm, and a little bit sexy. I light this one in the evenings after the kids are down, and it instantly makes the house feel calm and grown-up.

Stoneware Pumpkins (50% off): A nod to Halloween without being too Halloween-y. I know you know what I mean! These neutral pumpkins work on a mantle or table and don’t scream mess to me.

Gingham Tablecloth: This tablecloth is giving vintage-grandma-in-the-best-way energy. I may even use it for Thanksgiving which I’m hosting again this year!

Twisted Taper Candles: They’re sculptural, subtle, and perfect for a fall dinner party. I love mixing the caramel and cream tones together for a cozy tablescape moment.

Leather Woven Pillow: A simple swap that adds warmth to the sofa or bed. The color and texture feel perfectly autumnal without being pumpkin orange.

Ceramic Chicken Salt & Pepper Shakers: Unexpectedly charming! I didn’t think I’d ever own ceramic chickens, but these look more “artsy farmhouse” than kitschy.

Speckled Mug & Bowl: The kind of mug that makes your morning tea (or cocoa) taste better. The matching bowl is great for oatmeal, soup, or chili season.

Ghost Candlestick Holders: A tiny, playful touch feels festive without clutter.

Velvet Bow Napkin Rings: A small detail that would make a Thanksgiving table feel so special! The burnt orange velvet instantly dresses up white napkins.

Floral & Stripe Reversible Placemats: We use another version of these wipeaple placemats nightly. They’re fancy looking but great for kids. The pattern on mix this variation adds just the right amount of whimsy.

Green Gingham Napkins: These have a subtle holiday feel that works all fall and winter long. I mix them with plain white dishes for a clean but cozy table setting.

Plaid Navy & Rust Chappywrap: The ultimate curl-up-with-a-movie blanket. It looks great draped over a chair and brings in those rich fall tones and the Chappywrap coziness we can’t get enough of.

Orane & White Dishtowels: A low-lift way to make the kitchen feel festive. I rotate these in starting October and keep them through Thanksgiving.

Faux Fur Throw Blanket: We were recently gifted one of these blankets and when I tell you it changed our life I’m not exaggerating. All four of us fight over it and the kids already each have one on their Chrsitmas list!

Brown Gingham Bow: Perfect to add to a fall wreath or basket for a sweet little touch.

Call It Home by Amber Lewis: A coffee table book full of design inspo and goes perfectly with warm fall decor.
