You've probably heard more than one mom in your life refer to wine as mommy juice, myself included. There are certain days when you work all day and then your kid throws all of her food on the floor at dinner and you just need a minute.
Lately my dinner game has been lacking. Like seriously lacking. I got lazy over the summer and got stuck on the same recipes and didn't branch out all that much. But it's a new season and a fresh start, so last week I felt inspired again and started looking up new recipes and testing some of them out.
I'm not very trendy when it comes to basics like jeans. But the other day, J.Crew was having a big sale and I happened to walk by a store in person. #oldschool. On a whim, I tried on these high waisted jeans and fell in love immediately. They're high waisted without being too high, and the button detail gives them a fresh edge without being edgy.
