Shopping My Closet: Outfit 3

A Summer Rosé Party

Throwing a rosé party has been on my summer bucket list for three months now and I finally did it! I really wanted to set up a beautiful evening on my patio for some girlfriends, and we took these photos of it before they arrived. TBH, I don't usually put so much effort into entertaining but it felt so nice to spend the time putting it together and enjoying the evening as if I were at a fancy party, when in reality I was at home with a baby sleeping in the next room!

Tips for Dining Out with Toddlers

We've been taking Amalia out to meals since she was a tiny baby. We had this pipe dream that she would peacefully sleep in her stroller as we had a leisurely lunch or dinner. Ha! Not quite...

When she was really little, we'd try to eat out during nap times so that she would sleep, but she was never a great stroller sleeper so it usually ended up being very stressful so we basically just stopped taking her out unless it was for brunch or lunch between naps as she got older.
