Healthy 2013: February Recap

February came and went in a blur and I'm happy to report that my Healthy 2013 plan is still in full force and still not slowing down anytime soon. My February goal was to practice self-love by treating myself all month long. I had an appointment each week. A session with my Acupuncturist to calm my nerves, a facial with my esthetician Bonnie to brighten my face, a deep tissue massage to work out my knots, and a call with my Health and Business coach to get my life in order.

Minty Fresh Beach Accessories

A week from today, I'm hopping on a 16 hour jet plane to Tokyo and then a 6 hour plane to Singapore, followed by a boat ride to an Indonesian Island to celebrate my dad's birthday for a week. I'm so excited to wear only bathing suits, relax on the beach for days on end, eat fresh fish and fruit, and spend time with my husband and family.

Gluten Free Brownies

I gave up gluten for lent, so for 40 days I'm living a gluten free lifestyle. I feel so much better, I have more energy, and I'm able to get more creative in what I order at restaurants! Despite this fact, I've been craving brownies like crazy for the last week so I decided to find a recipe for gluten free brownies.

Trends from the Red Carpet

My favorite part of awards season is scoping out what everyone is wearing. I love to hunker down with a glass of wine and watch Live from the Red Carpet even more than the award shows themselves! Seth Macfarlane may have changed that for me with his amazing hosting/dancing/singing skills last night but the dresses on the red carpet took my breath away.
