I exclusively wear flats and boots in during the months between September and May. Here are my favorite picks for this season. They range from leopard print to metallic to herringbone. I love all of the fun patterns.
During the whole process of planning our wedding, there were many times when I lost sight of what was important. I lost sight of the fact that the marriage is what matters, not the wedding. Once in a while, I'd see a beautiful detail like bright sunlight peeking through a sheer curtain or a flower display in a window and I'd pause, take a breath, and recenter myself.
This is my husband. Yep, I said it: husband! He was taking these outfit shots of me a few weeks ago so I stole the camera and flipped it on him. His outfit was just too great. Yes on the outside he looks like the perfect package, handsome , adorable smile, well dressed...
I use my ColorLove board to pin all sorts of colorful images but lately I've been drawn to patterns like these. They're just plain old pretty.
I feel grateful for so many things today. I'm grateful that I'm married to Anel, grateful to our friends and family who made it out to Rhode Island to make our wedding the most perfect day and night of our lives, grateful that we have the opportunity to take a long romantic honeymoon in Ravello, Italy, and grateful for all of the love in my life.
