Today is International Women's Day, a day to celebrate social, economical, cultural and political achievements of women around the world. It felt like the perfect time to honor some of the most important women in my life.

This blog post has been a long time coming. I’ve been promising a tutorial on how we meal prep for over a year, but my systems were so convoluted, that I didn’t know how to share them and have it all make sense.
Well it's March. How the hell did that happen? With March, for me anyway, comes the promise of spring in our (probably not so) near future, my yearly itch to start spring cleaning early, and many a chocolate bunny because balance, right?
It also brings a new monthly wish list with springier pieces and maybe even a sandal (gasp)!

Yeah I said it. I mean the sleeves, the hot pink gingham, the whole kit and kaboodle.
But you know what? I love it anyway. It makes me happy to look at and it makes me happy to wear! I fully realize that my husband will make fun of me each and every time I do, calling me everything from Jerry Seinfeld to a picnic blanket, but the punchy pink and fun silhouette bring a smile to my face so I'm going for it.
