Let's be honest, I've never been a cool girl. I've always had a touch of dorkiness in me and I wouldn't have it any other way. Super cool "cool girls" used to intimidate me, until I realized, as an adult, that they can be just as insecure and vulnerable as the rest of us. That was one of those big lessons from my 20s was like a giant lightbulb going off.

Today I'm headed on a solo trip to San Fransisco to visit my mom and sister. I'll be flying back on Sunday night so it's a quick turnaround but we're going to pack a lot of fun into two short days.
