On Thursday I'm heading back to Nashville (read about my last trip here) with four of my best college friends without any husbands or kids for a mini reunion. Our official 10-year is happening this weekend in Los Angeles, but we all live on the east coast, and two of them have babies, so we thought why not just get together with the people we care about most somewhere closer to home?
Two weeks ago I saw my doctor and she told me to go to reception and start making my appointments every two weeks instead of monthly. "But why?" I asked, "I thought that didn't start until the third trimester." She quickly informed me that my third trimester was, in fact, starting in two weeks. As someone who's usually on top of everything, I was shocked when I heard that fun little fact.
Happy Friday! I'm beyond excited for this week to be over, and for a weekend with minimal plans. I'm traveling for the next two, so we're keeping this one majorly low key. The week was a little nutty for me, starting out with two full days of meetings in the city on Monday and Tuesday. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal, but pregnant Julia gets tired after a few hours of this type of work and I hit a wall at about 2pm each day.
Before I get into it about the ever important topic of maxi dresses, I want to talk about my content lately. You might have noticed that it's been a little more fluff and a little less real talk. While the fluff and pretty things are great and fun, what I love most about blogging is writing about important topics that help other people in some way.
