Life Lately: Volume 20

Happy Friday from Nashville!  I'm here for a few days with my closest college friends and we're having a ball. Now that we're all married, and there are kids involved, it's hard to find times when we can all get together on our own. We planned this trip months ago with no husbands and kids allowed, and I'm so glad we did.

Maternity Clothes 101

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with maternity clothes. I'm so grateful to have things that actually fit over my growing bump, but at the same time I feel very limited in what I can wear, and getting dressed every morning is a huge challenge. Well, most mornings I opt for yoga pants and a loose top, so let me restate that: Getting dressed every time I have to leave the house is a challenge.

Being a blogger is great for so many reasons. I get to create my own hours and be my own boss, which also means that I get to choose what I want to post about and when. There's a freedom that comes with this job that's unbeatable.

What's not so great? I don't get a steady paycheck every two weeks like I've always had in the past.

Nashville Packing List

On Thursday I'm heading back to Nashville (read about my last trip here) with four of my best college friends without any husbands or kids for a mini reunion. Our official 10-year is happening this weekend in Los Angeles, but we all live on the east coast, and two of them have babies, so we thought why not just get together with the people we care about most somewhere closer to home?
