After many requests for a full blog post, I’m finally sharing my weekly shopping list, some favorite products, and tricks of the trade that I’ve learned along the way.
Last week we finally had the nursery painted and wallpapered, and over the weekend we (ok, Anel) put together the crib which felt like a huge milestone! Things started to feel very real once there was a crib in the baby's room, so I thought it was finally time for an update.
I don't want to share every detail about the space because I want this room reveal to be epic, but I thought I'd give you a little sneak peek of the direction in which we're heading.
Perhaps for the first time in the history of the universe, we experienced a warm Easter Sunday in Connecticut. It was glorious! I was able to wear a dress without shivering, and we had the windows open with sun streaming in while we sipped on homemade lemon granitas (it was 80 degrees), and even sat on our back patio for a few hours.
I had a tough week emotionally although I'm not 100% sure why. A lot of things contributed to my cloudy mood, and I'm sure hormones played a big roll too. I felt unmotivated, uninspired, and anxious despite the sunshine. Instead of wallowing in these feelings, I did a few things to get myself out of the rut quickly.
