I feel like I've been so busy for the past few weeks that I haven't been as active on social media. I thought I'd give you a little update on what I'm loving right now as we head into what's supposed to be a beautiful weekend here in Connecticut!
Travel Bag: I got a ton of questions about this travel bag that I posted on Snapchat and Instagram.
This is probably my favorite gift guide yet. As a major homebody, I appreciate the importance of "comfiness" above all else. I work from home, live at home (duh), and like to spend my free time at home like a true Cancer (my birthday is July 9th).
I pretty much live in my Patagonia fleeces (I have multiple), but this one is for sure the softest.
Shooting this year's holiday card felt good. Like really good. Last year, I was in such a bad place, feeling so sorry for myself. While we took the photos, I had just had my second miscarriage... which is why we wore glasses in the photos. There were tears, it was awful. This year, I felt happy, fulfilled, loved, and healthy.
When we bought our house last year, we had all these grand plans to redo every room and install all kinds of fancy things... including a new bannister. Because we live in a split-level, the first thing that you see when you walk into our home is a staircase. Not chic. The bannister was dated and ugly, and I wanted to replace it with a super expensive new, more modern one.
