For some reason, this week my inbox has been flooded with emails from my favorite retailers announcing new sales. I guess it's a big pre-holiday push, but I'll take it! I've rounded up some of the best deals and some pieces that you might just want to pick up. It's the perfect time to look for a Thanksgiving outfit or to get early holiday gifts out of the way.
This time last year, we moved into our house. So much has changed since then, I can hardly believe it. The day we moved in, I cried... and they weren't happy tears. I was in such a bad place from my miscarriage, that the thought of moving into the house that we ultimately had bought because I was pregnant was almost too much for me to handle.
Happy Halloween, you guys! Over the weekend, Anel and Boots and I dressed up a superhero/villain family for a friend's party with Boots as Batman (natch), Anel as The Joker, and me as Cat Woman. Tonight, we're taking a more casual approach for what is going to be a busy night... Apparently our block is the hottest one in town for trick or treating, which meant I had to spend literally $200 on candy so that we don't run out.
