What a weekend. WHAT a weekend! It was one of those vacations where everything was just perfect. We got every parking spot, had no waits at busy restaurants, and the weather was a 10 three days in a row (If you live in New England you know that the probability of this is next to impossible).

I can't believe that 4th of July is already here! I feel like it was Memorial Day last week. I couldn't be more excited for our trip to Newport this weekend. Our family tradition on the 4th is to spend the weekend in Newport and then attend my aunt's infamous party at her lake house for a day full of tubing, water skiing, eating, sun bathing, and drinking.
One of the questions that I'm most often asked in my Q&As is about my workout routine. I wish I could say I have it down to an art and that I'm super in shape... I mean I'm married to an incredible personal trainer, you'd think I'd be on top of my game, right? Not so much.

Last week I talked about my summer of saying "no" and this weekend it finally felt as if it paid off. I said yes to the things I wanted to do (all locally) and didn't have to worry about packing and unpacking, spending hours in the car (or on a plane), or finding a place for Boots to stay.
