A few months, I found a list of 10 questions to ask your mother. My mom, sister, grandmother, and I all answered the same questions and compared our answers at the end (nerds!). It was a fun activity that helped us learn just a little bit more about each other.
After our weekend together, I thought I'd share our answers and encourage you to do this with your own mother.
I was blessed by the skin Gods and somehow never had acne in my teenage years. However, a year before my wedding, I developed what my facialist called "cystic acne". It didn't look all that terrible, but it was deeply rooted under my skin hurt like a mo' fo'. I've since learned how to control it with the product I use and by avoiding certain foods (sugar tends to make it flare up).
There's nothing quite like a white tee that's perfectly slouchy and cut in the exact right way for your body. It can be worn in the winter with a cardigan and leggings or in the summer with denim cutoffs and a statement necklace.
I didn't think that getting out of the snow and sub-arctic temperatures for 2 and a half days could make that much of a difference but boy was I wrong. As I mentioned last week, I planned a last-minute mother-daughter trip to Marin County for the weekend and it was so much better than I could have imagined.
