A few months, I found a list of 10 questions to ask your mother. My mom, sister, grandmother, and I all answered the same questions and compared our answers at the end (nerds!). It was a fun activity that helped us learn just a little bit more about each other.
After our weekend together, I thought I’d share our answers and encourage you to do this with your own mother.
I excluded half of our answers because they were a little too personal to share here. I also added seven lighter, more fun questions at the beginning.
So first, some fun questions. . .

Julia: / Mary: Love, Actually
Julia: Il Gattopardo (The Leopard) by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa / Mary: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

One beauty product you can’t live without

Sweet or salty?

Then a little bit more serious. . .
Outside of family members, who inspires you the most?

If you could go back in time to any period in history, where would you go and why?
Julia: I’d want to be a teenager in the 60s. I would love to live through a time where I felt part of a movement and a community. Plus the drugs.
Mary: The 1950’s. Peace and prosperity
