It seems like every blogger is spray painting their pumpkins this year so I thought I'd jump on the funky pumpkin train and decorate my own. I'm not quite as crafty as some others, but my husband and I had a blast making these the other night.
I especially love my glitter monogrammed pumpkin with my new last name.
I'm convinced that anyone who says they don't like the colder days in New York doesn't have an exciting enough coat collection. I have about 10 fall coats that I switch out daily including a classic Barbour, multiple blazers, a tan trench coat, a fleece Patagonia for weekends, a faux fur vest (of course!), jean jackets, and a delightful red and black plaid cropped jacket.
Every October, bakers, bloggers, foodies, and most humans on the east coast become obsessed with anything made with pumpkin. Pumpkin spice lattes anyone? I am not an exception to this rule. Last year I made pumpkin swirl brownies and pumpkin bread pudding and my mouth is watering just thinking about them. This year, I present to you my first pumpkin recipe of the season: an incredibly moist and flavorful pumpkin bread that is perfect with a mug of hot tea for breakfast or an afternoon snack.
My Pinterest home page is ablaze with orange and white. Pumpkins are everywhere right now! I plan to do some pumpkin decorating myself this weekend and am totally inspired by all of these images right now. What are your creative pumpkin decorating ideas?
