I bought this pair of shorts in August and was trying to sneak in as many wears as possible before the cold hit, until I realized that they will be perfect to pair with black tights and suede booties this winter!
It was a beautiful early Fall weekend in Hanover, NH. The weather was sunny and warm during the day-time, cool and crisp in the evenings. We spent a lot of time at my dad and his wife's house which is full of beautiful details.Whenever I get out of the city, I appreciate the space and cleanliness of real houses.

As promised, I'm going to start cooking up and sharing a bunch of soup recipes starting now so that everyone is prepared for the long, cold months ahead. I tweaked this recipe for a Tuscan Ribolita (bean and bread) soup, by adding extra kale, less beans, and substituting organic chicken sausage for the Pancetta, and vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
