Last night my sister came over for a break from her grueling study schedule for finals. I remember those college days… I made her a healthy dinner of brown rice and vegetable stir fry, a fresh arugula salad, and tamari-marinated chicken.
Upon finishing her meal, she immediately asked for dessert. Anel and I are trying to eat less sugar this month so my pantry was pretty sparse in the sweets department. I did, however, find a bag of chocolate chips. She asked if I could blend them up into a yummy treat and I did just that!

– 1 banana
– 6 ice cubes
– 1/2 cup almond milk
– 1 small handful chocolate chips
– 1 tblspn unsweetened coconut flakes
– 1/2 cup handful roasted cashews
Blend and enjoy!
