Life Lately: Volume 3

Talbots Coat

Coat / Necklace / Over-the-Knee Boots

Happy Friday! It was quite the (freezing cold) week here in Connecticut. On Sunday night, I went to my very first NFL game to see the Giants play Dallas with my dad. After four hours in the cold, I woke up on Monday with a sore throat… shocker! I spent the week drinking lots of lemon, ginger tea and getting better because we have a big weekend ahead! Two holiday parties (one is my sister’s in Philly!) and my friend’s pop up restaurant. I’m happy to say I’m feeling 100% again. I hope you have a great weekend!

Colorful Coat: As temperature dropped below 10 degrees this week, I’ve been living in heavy coats.  This burgundy belted number with a detachable faux-fur collar has brought me a ton of compliments, and it also comes in red! Shop my coat.

Word of the Year: Victoria’s post about focus being her goal for 2017 has stuck with me since I read it last week. I’ve been spending some time thinking about what my word will be for the coming year, and will report back as soon as I figure it out! Read the post.

Bubble: Remember my amazing pink ombré bubble earrings? Well they’re finally back in stock and today is the last day you can order them in time for Christmas. So get on it! Shop bubble earrings here.

Be a Ladyperson: My friend Gabi sent me this link and it made me crack up. Straight from the ad pages of your favorite high-end magazines, this guide teaches you how to be a “ladyperson” at the holidays. Get ready to laugh.

Preppy Baubles: One of my all time favorite online retailers just came out with an incredible line of jewelry. I just ordered a pair of these earrings and I’m so in love! Shop the collection here.

Biscotti Bar: After two of living in Italy, I have a serious soft spot for biscotti. I love Emily’s idea of creating a biscotti bar for a fun holiday girls night. Read the post.

Currently Bingeing: After finishing The Crown this week (I was so sad when it ended!), I need something new. Help! Any suggestions on what I should s

Irreverent Gifts: My friend Grace put together a gift guide for the person who hated 2016. It made me laugh so hard! Read the post.

Win Big: Have you entered our big giveaway yet? I teamed up with two of my blogger buds and a bunch of our favorite brands to bring you maybe the most epic holiday giveaway of all time. The winner gets gift cards (and a Gray Malin print!) worth over $4000. Enter here.

Make a Difference:  What’s going on in Aleppo right now is heartbreaking and devastating. So what can you do? My friend Hitha started Bridge2Act, a company that makes finding and donating to different charities. They’re currently raising money for the Karam Foundation, helping children all over Syria. Even if it’s a few dollars, please donate here!

I’d recommend Good Girls Revolt on Amazon as your next TV show. It’s super timely and based on a true story. Cute look and love those bubble earrings!

Thank you so much for linking to my gift guide. I’m happy you enjoyed it. 😉 On the TV front, I have really gotten into Good Behavior. It’s hilarious and stars Michelle Dockery (she played Lady Mary in Downton Abbey) – let’s just say it’s a new role for her!!!

Love the bold coat, and a removable fur collar? Amazing! I loved The Crown and can’t wait for next season. I’m watching Land Girls on Netflix (an oldish BBC drama). I also just bought season 1 & 2 of Sex and the City so now I’m rewatching an old fave! xx Rox-Anne, Celebratingthislife.ca
