Anchor Fair Isle

Nautica 1

I have always loved a good fair aisle sweater but this one really takes the cakes because of the cute little anchor slash snowflake pattern, cowl neck, and flattering cut. It hugs the right places and fits well over other shirts. I’ll definitely be pulling it out again for tree-trimming and holiday cookie-baking.

I wore it over the weekend when Anel and I hit up the Christmas section of Target. OMG. That alone is a reason to move to the suburbs, you guys! Of course we went in to buy toothpaste and laundry detergent and left with lights, wrapping paper, garlands, wreaths, and so much more. It was magical!

That same night we decided to explore a nearby town, Westport. We went to The Whelk for dinner which, if you live in the area, is a must-try! Think fresh clams, deviled eggs with fried oysters and pickled onions, and squid ink cavatelli all served in a cozy candle-lit rustic space on the water. It might just be our new go-to for date night. We have yet to find “our spot” out in the ‘burbs but exploring is certainly an adventure.

Love the red plaid peeking out! Such a fun holiday look. And yes, you’ve been saving literally $1000’s living nowhere near a Target!

I love how you styled the white jeans for fall. The pop of red if my favorite part of this look.

Hi! You mentioned not finding your “spot” in the ‘burbs yet – totally know what you mean!! We love Silvium in Shippan – really amazing Italian food, just tucked out of the way – and Casa Villa. We are also on a quest to find our spot out here – it’s not as easy as it was on the UWS!!!
