Bright Colors

Bright Colors

I don’t know what it is about 2019 but it’s making me want to wear all of the bright colors. From this outfit with an emerald green skirt to a brightly striped sweater that I’ve had on repeat lately, I can’t seem to get enough. This outfit from Monday’s post is my spirit animal right now.

Wearing neutrals is a trend that will obviously never go out of style but right now I’m over it. Move over blush pink and hello hot pink is my motto right now! Who’s with me?

When color blocking was a major thing, it was my prime of being on trend. I was actually cool from 2009-2012. I loved it and literally color blocked daily, even to the office where I used to work. Literally I would show up in pink jeans with a yellow sweater or a green skirt with a turquoise blouse every damn day. The bright colors made me so happy! Even my wedding colors were hot pink, orange, and yellow. It was awesome.

I’ve thrown on this hot pink sweater at least twice a week so far this month. There are more sizes here on sale! Pairing it with dark jeans and leopard booties has been my go-to outfit for everything from meetings to dinners with girlfriends.

Here are a few of my favorites to brighten up your weekend!

I’ve totally noticed that you had mixed up your color palette, but I love it!! You are so confident and brave, and I think the bright colors show that!! Keep it up!

I love it! It makes the winter less dreary when you wear bright colors! I especially love the skirts you picked. So versatile. I have a request – can you do a blog post on warm weather picks for vacation? We have a Florida vacation coming up during the kids February break and I’m having a hard time finding dresses and skirts, most of the things online now are very wintery still.
