Fall Shoe Edit

I feel like I never know what kind of shoes to wear anymore. Can we please just go back to skinny jeans with riding boots? At least I knew how to do that properly! Instead of giving into the trends that make my head spin I’m trying to stay classic but updated to the current times. Man I sound old…

From polished loafers (thrilled they are back!) to lived-in sneakers, from boots that make a statement to cozy slippers, I’ve pulled together my favorite styles of the season. Get the full list here or scroll down for more.

Loafers & Flats
Loafers are having a moment right now, and I’m here for it. It’s bringing me back to my early 2010s boat shoe days! They elevate even the most basic jeans-and-sweater look. I found a super simple warm suede pair that I really like and ordered.

I’m also loving the shape and fit of ballet flats lately. This studded pair from Madewell has been on repeat (and I get a million compliments on them!), and this green suede pair with a strap is just darling.

I also love a classic basketweave and have last year’s version of these. They’re gorgeous IRL.

Sneakers
Let’s be real, no matter how many pairs of shoes I own, I always reach for sneakers first. At this point in my life, comfort is my priority! My two go-tos for fall are my New Balance 327s (I love this new color-way) and the Adidas Spezials that I have in multiple colors.

Boots
If there’s one shoe category I splurge on every fall, it’s boots. A classic brown suede Chelsea boot is a forever staple, while knee-high boots with a little heel feel sophisticated and pulled together. For a fun twist, I just love these Chelsea rain boots in an unexpected color combo… they’re functional and playful!
