Happy weekend, friends! Today marks my first full week of working from home (without any travel) and it went surprisingly well. I was nervous about being alone but I scheduled enough in-person lunches and meetings that it was all good. I’m excited to actually be in town this weekend too. We have a houseguest, a double date, and friends coming over to meet Boots for the first time. I’m excited to finally have a “normal person” weekend where I don’t have to focus the whole time on blogging and photo shoots.

Speaking of photoshoots, I’m in the city today shooting a two-page ad for a brand that I’ve used for 20 years (literally) that will appear in People StyleWatch. It’s going to be a full day of shooting five outfits with five different beauty looks and I’m so excited to see how it turns out! I’m slightly concerned that it’s supposed to be 35 and I’ll be wearing spring dresses outside but I’m hoping those magazine folk have pocket warmers or some other tricks up their sleeves.

On my trip to Florida last weekend there were no pocket warmers required. Shooting this romper made me so excited for summer clothes. I’m so sick of my usual leggings and a sweater look, and this romper made me crave more of the fun, light looks that I love in warmer months. Have a great weekend!
