Christmas Tree Farm

Christmas Trees

Chicwish sweater, J.Crew coat, AG jeans, Loren Hope necklace, Tory Burch boots

Every year around this time, we head up to my dad’s house in New Hampshire for his annual tree-trimming party. He’s been having this party for over 30 years, where friends and family travel from around New England to cook and eat good food, cut down a tree, and decorate the house for the holidays. It’s one of my favorite weekends of the whole year because we get to enjoy all things Christmas without any of the pressure of the actual holiday.

It’s also an amazing experience to cut down a tree in New Hampshire because it doesn’t feel as Disneyland-like as the tree farms in Connecticut and New York. As you can see, there are trees for days with very few people which is a magical feeling. When we got home on Sunday, we bought the first tree in our new house which felt so special!

The next few weeks are about to fly by in a blur of Christmas lights and egg nog so I’m hoping to steal away a few cozy nights at home in this oversized sweater by the tree amidst all of the madness.
