Modena reversible cape, J.McLaughlin sweater, c/o Mark & Graham clutch, Julie Vos necklace, AG jeans
I’m a little late jumping on the cape trend but this reversible plaid one called my name and I couldn’t hold out anymore! Plus it was under $50 so I basically had no choice. Last weekend and the last few days have been absolute mayhem as we’re scrambling to get a million things done before our move on Saturday. Every minute it seems like another to do item pops up that I hadn’t thought of the minute before.
At one point on Sunday we hit a wall and decided to drop everything and head to Tod’s Point for our favorite sunset watching ritual and for a quick walk on this path. Taking the time out for a break got our wheels moving again and we were able to be more productive afterwards.
It cooled down significantly as the sun went down so I was glad to be draped in a cape which is clearly a far superior option to a coat when possible. I mean how could you not want to wear a blanket at all times?
Note: A few hours after I posted this, the cape sold out. Bummer! So I found some similar ones for you here, here and here (and love this buffalo check version too). Shop them all below too! In better news, my favorite ripped jeans pictured here are on major sale.
