I’m a pretty casual gal but once in a while I like to get all dressed up for a night on the town. I wore this fun and retro striped midi skirt (On sale for $42) for date night with Anel at Mediterraneo. We’ve been married for almost 3 years (in September!) and it’s easy to fall into habits like ordering in and watching too many movies in our “comfy cozies” as we call them. Aka sweatsuits. Aka my favorite kind of night. Aka if you do that every night, your marriage needs some spicing up.

Therefore, once a week, we make it a point to look nice for each other and hit the proverbial town. It’s understandably a little less exciting than our date nights in the city but still something to look forward to each week. Something about eating a nice meal across from my husband with a cold glass of wine and no phones makes my heart flutter every time. I definitely don’t get that with a yellowtail scallion roll and an HBO Documentary… Not that there’s anything wrong with that!
