Plaid scarf, windowpane skirt, black turtleneck, over-the-knee boots, red bag
How is it possibly Thanksgiving in two days? We started packing last night for our trip to Northern California to celebrate Thanksgiving with my mom. As we were packing we were talking about how fast the summer and fall flew by and, although we haven’t had any snow yet, we know that winter (as in true New England winter) is around the corner.
Luckily, we get to escape the chilly temps for a few days in Marin County, one of my favorite places in the country. I’m looking forward to our Thanksgiving on the beach, hiking at Muir Woods, wine tasting in Napa, and finally having the chance to attend Victoria’s annual Friendsgiving party on Friday night.
Layers are a must for Northern California so I packed this whole outfit from Nordstrom as Thanksgiving potential because I can easily add or remove my plaid scarf and tights to this turtleneck/windowpane skirt combo depending on the weather. Nordstrom has everything for the holidays from party frocks to cozy sweaters.
