This weekend my amazing photographer Rebecca came the the Upper East side to take some photos with me. It was so cold out (15 degrees at the time) that we were forced to take these shots inside. The lighting in my apartment is perfect mid-day so they ended up coming out amazingly well.

We popped a bottle of champagne that afternoon because I have a lot to celebrate. A few weeks ago I mentioned that I have some big news (If one more person asks me if I’m pregnant, I might go crazy. And no, I’m not). The news is that I decided to quit my full time job as the Sales Director at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and move to blogging and running my own business full time. This is a really scary transition for me but I am beyond excited for the adventures ahead. You are about to see a lot of greatness come out of this girl!

I don’t know exactly what the future looks like but I’m ready to be my own boss, create my own rules, and follow my very own passions.

That being said, I know it might be a little different for us financially at first so you’re going to probably see a lot more H&M (like today), Zara, and Forever 21 on this blog. I’m understanding more and more how to pinch my pennies when it comes to shopping. In fact my entire look in this post (minus the accessories and shoes) was under $100. Not bad, right?
