I am a blatant copy cat today and I’m fully admitting it. My friend Hallie wrote this post about her favorite pieces and how she wore them in 2013. I loved the idea of looking back on the last year and seeing my wardrobe favorites on repeat.
As a blogger, I’m constantly trying to create original and exciting content for you guys but I don’t have a crazy high budget so buying new clothes for every post isn’t exactly an option. It’s important to be able to recycle certain pieces without them getting stale, hence these repeat offenders. It’s actually quite a challenge!
You can see how I attempted this with some of my faves below. Someone actually called me out on Instagram this summer for wearing my striped shorts too often. Ouch!

I love that each outfit looks different even with the same items! I say go for it, I know I don’t have the budget to have all new things, ha! And in general, I love your outfit combos 🙂
I think rewears are awesome. That’s the reality for most people, and it’s nice to see how other bloggers change up a piece. It’s my biggest struggle to wear something in a more interesting way!
This has me wanting to revisit my frequent go-tos, too — I definitely have a lineup of faves that i reach for again and again!
I love blogger who re-wear. To me, someone who always has new everything or tons of designer stuff isn’t reality for me! Most people don’t live that way. So you rock those striped shirts over and over and over girl!
