If you live on the east coast, you probably had a happy weekend. Temperatures rose over 50 degrees (gasp) which brought out more smiles on the streets of New York and a glow to the city that we haven’t seen in months (OMG is she pregnant???). I actually went running for the first time this year, and felt so great that I did it again the next day. I may have shin splints now but my body was so happy with that decision, and connecting to “nature” aka the East River was a nice change of pace. I had an inspirational lunch with Victoria, a wine-filled dinner with my friend Bailey, and a visit with my in-laws on Saturday.
On Sunday, I met up with Hallie and Jess at The East Pole for brunch and to discuss some serious blogging matters. After one too many iced coffees, we took these photos on the Upper East Side. Scroll down to see Hallie photo-bombing my blog post. What a bitch. JK it was the most fun, most giggly photo shoot I’ve had in quite a while. I’m shocked we got any normal photos as I was laughing so hard.
Moving on to the clothes. I’m effing obsessed with this jacket. It’s perfect for spring temps and people were literally stopping me on the street all day to ask about it. Those sleeve-sequins really sparkle! It felt so nice to wear this light layer and flats with my ankles all exposed to the world.
