Happy Monday! Today is the first day that I go back to work after the hurricane. New York was hit hard by Sandy but it’s incredible how people have banded together and local businesses stepped it up by donating money, food, and charging stations. I can truly say that I’m proud to be a New Yorker and my deepest prayers go out to any of you or your loved ones who lost a home or were in any way affected by last week’s storm.

On a lighter note, few weeks ago, I posted a collage for my ideal going out outfit. Here is another example of what I wear for a night out in the city. It’s basically the same as what I wear during the day but I add a pair of heels, some sparkles (in clutch form here), and a top knot.

I love the hot pink piping on this white blouse. I picked it up randomly at H&M one day after work and it quickly became a favorite in my closet.
