You know that thing that you’ve “always been wanting to do” but you have just never got around to doing? Well I’ve always wanted to do a fancy schmancy tea at The Plaza or The St. Regis in Manhattan and after 7 years of living in the city, never quite got around to it.

Luckily I have friends who make shit happen, so yesterday, Meghan and Victoria organized an afternoon tea at The St. Regis with ten of my best blogger friends.

We showed up, shivering from the chilly day outside for tea, champagne, cucumber and salmon tartar tea sandwiches, and scones with lemon curd and clotted cream (Have you ever had clotted cream? Game changer.) in one of the most glamorous spaces I’ve ever seen.

It was a Sunday, it was cold, and I didn’t feel like dressing up, but I wanted to look chic enough to spend a few hours with the rich and famous so I went for neutral-chic in this F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. Club Monaco wrap trench coat.
