Hey Clay Animals, $16

My aunt gave one of these kits to Amalia for her birthday this year and it was SO much fun to do together. It’s made up of this really cool clay and then gives you a code for an app that shows you how to build different animals. Amalia loved helping to build them then we played with the animals for weeks afterwards.

The Questioneers Books, $9

Anel discovered this set of picture books for Amalia and she loves them. Each of the 4 books tells the story of a kid with a passion who perseveres to follow his or her dreams. The pictures are great and the stories are in rhyme which makes them more fun to read, IMO. Sofia Valdez, Future Prez is our current favorite.
