Giveaway closed! I hope you had a good weekend. Anel and I finally got our tree up, and it makes me happier than I can even put into words. There’s something about sitting next to sparkly lights with a cup of hot cocoa, listening to Christmas music with my husband and puppy that makes me the happiest girl on earth!
Maybe it’s the tradition of it all, and the memories that it brings back of my childhood holidays, who knows. Speaking of tradition, when GODIVA reached out about partnering this holiday season, I immediately said yes. One of my favorite traditions of the year is when, on Valentine’s Day, my dad sends me and my sister each a dozen pink roses and a big box of GODIVA chocolates that lasts almost until Easter. I get giddy every, time I open that box, and it was no different this time around for the holidays.
I love the exclusive box they created this holiday season: The Box that Keeps Giving. It’s filled with gifts nestled inside one another. How does it work? The idea is that you can keep a box for yourself, and give the other one to someone in your life who deserves a delicious holiday! Then that person can continue to pay it forward by surprising another loved one with a box of chocolates. Each box that keeps giving has many boxes inside allowing you to gift three different people in your life.
I ended up giving my second half to my photographer, Courtney, who took these photos for me. She was so excited and appreciative. She gave her other half to her mom. I love that! Anel and I definitely devoured the half that I kept and it was so delicious.
This box isn’t available for sale anywhere, but we’re giving one away today, so comment below, letting me know who you would gift your “to give” half of the box to and why. We’ll randomly pick a winner tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12pm EST. Good luck! Note, giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our winner, Jennifer!
Thank you to GODIVA for sponsoring this post. Photos by Courtney Ann Photography.
Oh my gosh, that’s such a good idea for a gift! I’d give the other half to my sister because she’s in charge of making Christmas dinner this year so I think I need to keep her sweet so that she makes plenty of extra roast potatoes so I can go all out and stuff my face silly.
Don’t have to think twice about who I would give the othe half to – my work friend who always brings a smile to my face.
I’d give the other half to my mom! Between work, family & the holidays, she’s constantly on the go! She puts everyone & everything before herself. She can enjoy this in front of the tree as “me time” & we can show her how much we appreciate everything she does!
I would give the other half to my grandmother who loves chocolate as her dementia is getting worse. She bought me my first piece of Godiva chocolate when I was younger in the mall!

Would totally give one to my best friend Taylor! We both share a love of all things chocolate / sugar, so we would really enjoy sharing these boxes together. And if I know one thing about Taylor, she’d give her half box to her mom!
I would ‘give’ half the box to my mom. Because, well, she is the best!
I LOVE this idea! I would give the other half to my boss. She recently announced she is retiring after nearly 30 years and I can’t imagine something that would make her smile more! If only we could get these in the store :).

My dad. Hands down. His ONLY vice is chocolate and he’s my best friend!
What an amazing idea! I would probably give these to my mom, as a thank you for always being the best listener and cheerleader.
My sweet co-worker!
I would definitely give my “to give” half of the box to my boyfriend, who has been the most supportive and helpful better half I could ever ask for! Chocolates (especially Godiva ones) are our favorite sweets ever!
I would give the other half to my sister.
I would give the other half to my mom. She’s the best mother on the planet to me and each time she gets a new little class of 1st graders. This year, she event supplied a winter wardrobe to one of her babies in need.

Our administrative assistant at work – she’s responsible for each of us having personalized Christmas stockings hanging outside our offices!

Love Godiva! I would love the chocolate to give to my in-laws when we go see them in a few weeks.
Xoxo Amber
Oh definitely my sister-from-another-mister friend who’s been beyond like family and my primo chocolate hookup for nearly 20 years, LOVE her!! Though she deserved the whole box… And I’ve a few good ideas of some great women she’ll pass the next box to. Ya gotta give back ya know. What a great idea!
I would (selfishly) “give” them to myself, because I LOVE chocolate! Well… okay… I might share a few with my family!
Your photos are so pretty (big props to Courtney!). I would give my half to my mom because she took such good care of my son these last two weeks. He traveled with Grandma to visit our family in Scotland, with a few stops in London and even Paris! It’s been a while since she had a 14 year old to run after so I really think she deserves a chocolate break now that she is home 😀 xx Rox-Anne, Celebratingthislife.ca
My gym coach! Because even they need to indulge sometimes 🙂
I would give the other half to my mom because she loves chocolate and would definitely appreciate it!
What a fun idea!!! Definitely would give it to my mom.
So fun! I would give the other half to my friend Monica. Her mom passed away about 3 weeks ago and I know the holidays are going to be especially hard this year. This would just be a small reminder that I’m thinking of her.

If I won the chocolates I would give the other half to my 32-yo daughter. We both love chocolate and when she was young we would share all our desserts….pie, cake, candy, whatever. When she was very young she asked for a Whitman Sampler for Christmas so she could try out all the different chocolates.
I would give the other half to my mum! She has worked so hard this year while recovering from a broken foot and deserves a delicious treat to brighten her December.
I would give mine to my best friend! She’s definitely the sweetest part of my life, and always there for me when I need her. There’s no one I’m closer to or can share everything with besides her, and so of course I would share this gift with her!
If I won I would give it to my 21 year old daughter who is struggling from a Traumatic Brain Injury. Her hard work & generous heart are overwhelming!
She inspires me everyday and when things get really hard … Chocolate helps! She also introduced me to Lemonstripes and I enjoy ea post!!
I would gift it to my friend, Micheale. Both of our husbands travel frequently for work, so we’re left managing our households and caring for the kids on our own much of the time. She’s always there for me, and is about to undergo knee surgery on top of everything she’s already handling. She could use a little something to brighten her day!
Congratulations, Jennifer. You won! Email me at julia@lemonstripes.com with your address and we’ll get that out to you ASAP. Happy holidays!

Traveling mid December to the UK to see my daughter and her British husband. Boy, I do miss her. She is unable to fly home because of her work schedule. She works long hours and has been stuck on trains and at railway stations btween London and her home. I think sharing a few Godiva chocolates (luxury) would be the best.
I’d gift mine to a Junior League friend and her husband-this is utterly crazy but they just had quints-after years of fertility struggles. 5 kids.at.one.time.

I would gift my box to my future daughter in law, letting her know how much I really love her and the fact she will be joining our family in just two short months. We are so excited for the future!
This is an amazing idea – I wish they sold it in stores too! My younger sister and I are chocoholics and used to buy each other a handful of hand-selected Godiva truffles for the holidays when we were young. Even though you could go buy a box yourself, it was always more fun to get and give as a gift. Especially with the beautiful Godiva gold boxes. 🙂
I would give this to my mom who has the biggest heart and is the most selfless and caring person in the entire world! The idea of a gift that keeps on giving is such a great reminder of what the season is truly about! Happy Holidays!
Sister.
What a great idea! x
