A couple of months ago, in the throes of fashion week, the lovely ladies of Charmed Mag, a new online interiors-focused magazine, came over to shoot my apartment. It was weird to have a team of people focusing on every detail of my home but I love how the photos came out and am so excited to share them with you. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen snippets here or there but this is a deeper look into the space that I call home.
My husband and I share a tiny (by Manhattan standards it’s actually not that small but if you live anywhere else besides this crazy little island that we call home, it’s tiny. Trust me.) apartment on the Upper East Side. It’s bright an light on a quiet-ish block close to the river. I try to keep it neat and clean at all times, especially because I work from home almost every day.
It has been a huge challenge to fit my inventory into this small space along with all of our regular person stuff, but somehow we’ve made it work. Every single drawer and closet is full to the brim but it’s worth it to live in the Big Apple and to work for myself. Enjoy these photos of my colorful space!

Wow. I love the pops of color and simplicity of it all! Great job!

I can definitely commiserate on your tight space woes — DC living’s not much better than NYC and it’s a challenge to fit everything in and still stay organized — I love what you’ve done with your place though, especially the color-coordinated stacked books, so fun!
Isn’t that fun? I saw a rainbow bookshelf on Pinterest and was inspired. My husband doesn’t love it 🙂
Love this tour of your adorable space! Light, clean, & fresh. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Thank you Tiffany! I worked really hard to make it a comfortable and relaxing space so it makes me so happy to hear that.
So cute! I want to see it in person during my next trip!
You definitely will!
I LOVE your cook book display! Can you please share where you got the shelving?
Where is the filing cabinet from? Love it.
Love the kitchen’s window bench/table. Perfect spot to sit and have coffee as well as store cookbooks. And your bar cart and color-coded bookshelf! Great space.
