Good morning from another beautiful day in Connecticut. This weekend the sun was shining and the temps were in the 60s. It was one of those weekends that you deal with the long winters to get to. And it was made even better with my mom in town and my sister and niece who surprised us with a visit.
Happy Friday! My week was a little weird because of a random 24-hour fever I had Wednesday-Thursday. It was so bizarre, but on Wednesday afternoon, out of literally nowhere, I started shaking uncontrollably and realized I had a 103 fever! It was so out of the blue I was in shock. By yesterday afternoon I was totally fine again so thinking it was a 24-hour bug but it sucked for a minute there.
I have been wanting to do an interview with my incredible dermatologist, Dr. Klein at Modern Dermatology, for a long time because the woman is a wealth of knowledge and every time I go to see her I ask a million questions myself. Her skin is perfection and she has introduced me to some amazing products and treatments.
It was a crazy week in the Dzafic household. Luca spiked a fever last weekend and ended up testing positive for the flu on Wednesday. He has been doing really well, considering, but the poor kid has now had COVID, RSV, and the flu in a matter of three months.
And if he wasn't sleeping or eating, he wanted to be held.
