Sunflowers

Happy Monday from sunny California, friends! After an equally relaxing and fun birthday on Saturday, I flew out (with a mild hangover no less) to Los Angeles to meet up with my mom and drive to Claremont to visit my grandparents for a few days. When I lived on the West Coast during college, I would see them at least once a week which is something that I miss dearly.

31

Tomorrow I'm turning 31, and so much has changed since my 30th birthday. I remember writing out my list of things that I learned in my 20s for last year's birthday post but I feel like in the last year I've learned more than I learned in the entire decade before it. It's kind of an anticlimactic birthday, you know?

Fantastique

Yesterday it was upwards of 90 degrees but felt like 120. Poor Boots was so lethargic even in the AC all day, he "literally couldn't even deal" if you know what I mean. The idea of taking photos in the hot sun let alone shooting four full outfits sounded brutal but hey, there are worse things in life!

Some Thoughts About Money

The topic of money has come up a lot in my life as of late. Although it's taboo to talk about money and your finances publicly, I think it's important for young women in our 20s and 30s to understand what our peers are going through so I'm going to share a few thoughts and what I've learned since I graduated from college 10 years ago (Oh man, saying that out loud is a reality check!).

T Shirt c/o / Shorts / Hat c/o / Sandals

What a weekend. WHAT a weekend! It was one of those vacations where everything was just perfect. We got every parking spot, had no waits at busy restaurants, and the weather was a 10 three days in a row (If you live in New England you know that the probability of this is next to impossible).
