Oh hello! I'm still here but it's been a while. I miss writing on this blog but have been in a totally different newborn world and unable to motivate myself to sit down and pound the keyboard. Until today. Two weeks late for my annual birthday post. But better late than never right?

This year has been full of my highest highs and some very low lows.

Summer Watermelon Salad

When we lived in New York in our 20s, my dad and his wife Jenn, lived across the park. They would have BBQs every weekend in the summer and Jenn always made this refreshing and delicious summer watermelon salad. I've requested it for my birthday every year since! The sweet cool watermelon, tangy feta, and herbacious pesto somehow mix together into perfection.

The Pressures of New-Motherhood

Luca is two months old (time, please slow down), but instead of my usual monthly recap, I wanted to write about something else that's been top of mind lately: the pressures of new motherhood.
