Coming back from a long weekend is no joke. After 3 blissful days at home in New Hampshire (see photos on Instagram), it was tough getting up this morning to head back to work. Part of me loves being on a schedule and I crave it over the weekend (I know, dafuq?) but this time around I actually let go and enjoyed the time off, working for only an hour each day as a rule.

Ahh I love summer so so so much! Summer weekends in Connecticut have been pretty great so far (I realize it's not actually summer but it certainly feels like it!). There are stunning beaches, our building has a pool, and we have been exploring new towns and restaurants which makes every day feel like a new adventure.

If it were socially acceptable to wear PJs all day everyday, I would 100% do that. Today's outfit gets pretty darn close! This soft cotton romper is loose, forgiving, comfortable, yet somehow chic.
I haven't even lived in Connecticut for a full year yet and still feel like such a newbie, but when Town & Country asks you to create a local travel guide, you do it! Over the past 8 months, I've already discovered my g0-to restaurants, bars, and shops.

Am I crazy or does it seem like we skipped spring and went straight to summer this year? These 80 degree days are such a warm welcome (literally) after the most brutal winter. While it heats up outside, my closet is firing up and my summer wardrobe is coming together quite nicely.
