Creamy Dairy-Free Tomato Soup

This cozy recipe from my cookbook, Garden Grown, has become a favorite in our house, and, from what I’ve heard in my DMs, in kitchens all over the country too. It has everything you want in a tomato soup: warmth, nostalgia, and classic comfort-food flavor.

My dairy-free twist gets its creamy texture from white beans and olive oil instead of cream, making it just as satisfying but a little lighter.

Life Lately: Volume 123

Happy Friday! It’s officially sweatah weathah here in New England, and this summer baby shockingly doesn’t hate it. There’s something so cozy about working from home with the windows open, a crisp breeze drifting in, and a sweatshirt-and-blanket combo that just hits right.

Back-to-school season, on the other hand, has been a little… aggressive this year.

Fall Decor I Don’t Hate

I’ll be honest, fall decor (or any seasonal decor, really) just isn’t my thing. The one exception? I do love a Christmas tree moment… but I’m also ready to take it down on the 26th. Am I a Scrooge? Maybe! My kids certainly think so, which means every year I cave and add a few pieces to our home that feel festive each season without taking over the whole house.

Fall Shoe Edit

I feel like I never know what kind of shoes to wear anymore. Can we please just go back to skinny jeans with riding boots? At least I knew how to do that properly! Instead of giving into the trends that make my head spin I'm trying to stay classic but updated to the current times.
