Happy Friday! It’s officially sweatah weathah here in New England, and this summer baby shockingly doesn’t hate it. There’s something so cozy about working from home with the windows open, a crisp breeze drifting in, and a sweatshirt-and-blanket combo that just hits right.
Back-to-school season, on the other hand, has been a little… aggressive this year. Apparently, once you hit 3rd grade, things get real. We’ve been scrambling to adjust to Amalia’s later activity schedule. Some nights she doesn’t even get home until 7! That means two separate dinner times for the kids and a lot more planning on my end. It’s definitely been an adjustment, but she’s thriving in her dance and theater classes, which makes the chaos totally worth it (most of the time).
