Over the weekend, Anel and I were invited to a charity event on the beach by some friends of ours. I knew the crowd was going to be pretty fancy-schmancy, so I wanted to wear something that would fit in. Instead of buying something new, I decided to practice what I preach and rent a dress from Rent the Runway for the very first time.

Happy Monday! We had a really great summer weekend packed with pool parties, a visit from my sister and brother-in-law, and an actual "beach ball" at sunset on the beach. It was glorious. My sister's dog, Delaware, will be living with us for the next two weeks and Boots is beyond happy to be spending some QT with his cousin.
