Easter is one week away, and it's our first with Amalia where she (kinda sorta) understands that the Easter Bunny is coming. I remember thinking it was ridiculous when my friends and family would fill their kids Easter baskets with toys and gifts. When I was a kid, it was simply old school plastic eggs and chocolate bunnies.

I had a really really hard time with daily meditation.
Do you ever feel like your day just needs a major overhaul? That was me yesterday. I was feeling anxious, something less and less common for me these days thank goodness, and it was hard for me to shake what felt like a heavy weight on my chest. A close friend of mine is going through something really devastating and I couldn't seem to focus on anything else besides that.
